An oil painting on canvas of a still life. This painting depicts a round, reflective table holding a stack of books, top hat, white gloves and a potted bouquet of lavender flowers. To the lower right corner of the composition is a painted monogrammed initial, ‘G’. The painting is presented in a gold tone wooden frame with hanging wire to the verso.

- edge wear to frame; denting to canvas; slight craquelure; minor abrasions to surface; staining to center of canvas verso.
