Item Details
A hand-colored engraving on laid paper titled L’Abbaye de Westminster et de L’Eglise St. Marguerite a Londres. This work depicts the populated street in front of the famous Westminster Abbey in London, England. Presented unsigned but the title is printed in plate to the lower margin. The print is presented matted under an acetate sheath without a frame.
Condition
- to fair; slight toning and foxing to paper; some creasing and fraying; acetate sheath is crinkled and coming loose form mat; mat is toned and ripping at the corners; smudges and marks to paper and mat.
