Ink Wash

An ink drawing on paper of a trumpeter. This contour line drawing depicts an illustrative rendering of a boy in profile, clutching at the aforementioned instrument while playing it. A lone music note is pushed to the right edge by a zig-zagged line. To the lower right corner of the composition is what appears to be a handwritten artist signature, reading ‘Chon Dan’. The drawing is presented under layered matting in a gray plastic coated wooden frame with hanging wire to the verso.
