Hand-Knotted Tekke Bokhara Area Rug
Item Details
A hand-knotted Tekke Bokhara area rug. This wool rug is rendered in a palette of midnight blue, cherry, black, caramel, and cream. It features two vertical rows of Tekke guls flanked on each side by full and partial Kurbage guls, over a midnight blue field. Framing the field are compound geometric borders grounded in shades of red. Selvedges are overcast, the rug finishing at top and bottom with tan wool and camel hair warp fringe. Unlabeled.
