A 1976 Rosenthal decorative porcelain plate titled Angel with Trumpet (Engel Mit Trompete). This piece depicts an angel with elaborate, whimsical detail on a deep blue ground. She is framed by a multicolor motif reminiscent of peacock feathers. The plate is finished with delicate silver and gold gilt trim throughout, dated and signed to the lower left. It bears a hanger and is marked to the verso: ‘Rosenthal galerie Germany, ’Angel with Trumpet’, Limited Edition, Hand Decorated.’
