Vintage WelbyWooden Carriage Clock

Item Details

A vintage Welby wooden carriage clock. The clock is cherry wood with a bracket shape and brass handle on a tapered bonnet. The clock has hinged, glass front door that displays a brass face with black Roman numerals and gold-tone serpentine hands with raised brass spandrels and a winding, chime and quarter chime keyhole. Other features of the clock include a latched back door, Westminister chimes with quarter hour chimes and the clock stands on a plinth style wood base with bracket feet. The clock is marked ‘Welby’ to the face.
