Antique German 12 Loth Silver Spoon
Item Details
An antique German 812 silver spoon. This spoon is unadorned silver spoon features and oval bowl, narrow stem pointed oval handle. The spoon is marked to the underside with the maker’s mark, marked with a ‘B’ on the handle tip, possibly for the city of Bützow or Bamberg and a “12” in a square cartouche, for “12 Loth” a unique of silver fineness that was used in Germany until 1886. Total approximate weight is 1.320 ozt.

-minor surface wear including faint markings and minimal tarnishing.
