A Walt Disney Classic Collections The Reluctant Dragon ‘The More the Merrier’ figurine. The brightly colored figurine features the dragon leaning back on a rock with a boy sitting on his belly while having a tea party. The dragons ears and the boy are bronze, the salt and pepper shakers are pewter, the bread basket is cold cast resin and the drop of tea is glass. There are imprints of Mickey Mouse’s ears on the dragon’s elbows and knees. The piece is marked on the underside ‘Wlat Disney Classics Collection The Reluctant Dragon Limited Edition Reluctant Dragon & boy ’The More the Merrier’‘, numbered 3878/7500 and has ’Handcrafted in Thailand’ sticker affixed. It is impressed with a sailor’s hat (1996) to represent Donald Ducks on sceen debut in The Wise Little Hen (1934). Comes with certificate of authenticity and the original box. This figurine is retired.
