A Carousel Collection horse with a San Francisco Music Box base and a ceramic carousel horse. The decorative white horse with a curly mane and tail wears a gilded bridle and horseshoes, and does not present a maker’s mark. The ornately designed black horse with a feather at its head is attached to a gold tone metal carousel pole which stands on a wooden music box platform. A gold tone medallion at the horse’s front hooves is marked ‘Carousel Collection’. The footed base is marked ‘The San Francisco Music Box Company – Made in China – Chariots of Fire’. The music box mechanism is also marked ‘Giftec – Taiwan – U.S.A.’ The music box does not work.
