Antique Blue Sandwich Glass "Lafayet" Pressed Glass Salt Cellar
Item Details
An antique Boston and Sandwich Glass Company pressed lacy glass ‘Lafayet’ salt cellar in blue. This small salt cellar in the shape of a boat has the name ‘Lafayet’ pressed into the side of the paddlewheel, is marked ‘Sandwich’ to the underside, and ‘B&S Glass Co.’ to the stern. This salt cellar was manufactured between 1830 and 1850.
