An oil painting on canvas of an Impressionistic Parisian street scene by Andre Gisson (1921 – 2003). With soft colors and quick brushstrokes, the work depicts a figural scene with the Arc de Triomphe in the background. Signed by the artist to the lower left corner. Housed in a carved wood frame with a scalloped edge. To the verso is a framer’s label.

- minor wear to gilt finish on frame; dust to surface of work and along canvas edges of stretcher bars.
