A set of sterling silver flatware by Gorham. This is in the James Russell Price designed Rondo pattern, first introduced in 1951, which features a scrolled handle with rosette accented tip. The thirty-nine piece set includes ten teaspoons, seven dinner forks, six iced tea spoons, a serving spoon, a sugar spoon, a lemon fork, and six salad forks, all marked to the backs ‘Gorham Sterling’ and ‘Rondo’. They include seven dinner knives with sterling handles and stainless steel blades, presented in a wooden flatware chest with blue felt-like interior lining. The total approximate weight, excluding knives with stainless blades, is 37.045 ozt.
