A signed artist’s proof serigraph on paper of an architectural scene by listed French artist Jacques Lamy (France; 1946-2016). The work depicts a Mediterranean style church comprised of beige, off-white and brown hues. The piece is signed by hand in graphite and marked artist’s proof in French to the lower margin. The item remains unframed.
Jacques Lamy was born in France near the Loire Valley in 1946. He received his formal artist training at Ecole Nationale Superieur des Arts Decoratifs in Paris. Lamy worked as an artist, designer and art teacher allowing him to travel to Spain, Africa, and the United States. His work is housed in instructions such as Musee D’Art Roger Quillot, France and the Jesuit Art Museum in Dallas, Texas.
