The box is Italian and has a square, deep shape with a burl finish and features a brass hinged lid with chain supports and a brown and tan paper interior with a decorative design. Other features include a lock to the front with a brass key on a gold-tone and white tassel and the box stands on wood bracket feet with a black finish.
