A limited edition offset lithograph of a still-life by listed, French artist Jacques Lamy (1946-2016). This print features a still-life of an urn filled with orange flowers rendered with mock forced craquelure and earthy tones. It is signed to the lower right corner and is 66 out of an edition of 300. This work remains unframed and wrapped in an acetate sheath.
Jacques Lamy was born in France near the Loire Valley in 1946. He received his formal artist training at Ecole Nationale Superieur des Arts Decoratifs in Paris. Lamy worked as an artist, designer, and art teacher allowing him to travel to Spain, Africa, and the United States. His work is housed in institutions such as the Musee D’Art Roger in Quillot, France and the Jesuit Art Museum in Dallas, Texas.
