U.S. Postal Service Commemorative Print and Stamps Honoring Vietnam Veterans

A 2004 framed print, poem and postage stamps issued by the United States Postal Service to commemorate the service of Americans who served in the Vietnam War. The piece features a reproduction print after Reflections by listed American artist Lee Teter, signed in plate to the lower right. The piece depicts a veteran bowing his head while leaning his hand upon the Vietnam Memorial wall, as reflections of fallen soldiers reach to touch his hand from the wall’s reflection. The print is framed alongside a 1995 poem titled ‘The Wall’ by Kelly Strong, as well as a series of 2004 postage stamps arranged under the heading of ‘The U.S. Postal Service Honors Vietnam Veterans’. The items are double-matted together in cream and gold tone and presented under glass in a wooden frame with beaded accent, fitted with a sawtooth hanger to the verso.
