Genuine Hide and Bone Circular Basket

Item Details

A genuine deer hide circular basket. This folk art basket is wrapped in genuine deer hide with attached hair, and is adorned with turkey feathers, the jawbone of a deer, and chert points. The rigid handle of the basket continues the arc of the base, forming a circular ring. An attached natural fiber circular foot on the underside enables the basket to sit upright.
