A mixed media on board of a tree by French artist Jacques Lamy (1946-2016). This piece depicts a willow like tree against a blue sky. The piece is rendered with oil paints and textiles. This work is signed in to the lower right corner. Presented without glass in a wood frame with gold tone sight edge.

Jacques Lamy was born in France near the Loire Valley in 1946. He received his formal artist training at the artistic training at Ecole Nationale Superieur des Arts Decoratifs in Paris. Lamy worked as an artist, designer and art teacher allowing him to travel to Spain, Africa, and the United States. His work is housed in instructions such as Musee D’Art Roger Quillot, France and the Jesuit Art Museum in Dallas, Texas.
