This impressionistic style painting depicts the facade of a large vista style building rendered in warm orange hues. To create highlights in the piece the artist used hies of white and green. This piece is signed to the lower right corner. This work is presented unframed.
Jacques Lamy was born in France near the Loire Valley in 1946. He received his formal artist training at the artistic training at Ecole Nationale Superieur des Arts Decoratifs in Paris. Lamy worked as an artist, designer and art teacher allowing him to travel to Spain, Africa, and the United States. His work is housed in instructions such as Musee D’Art Roger Quillot, France and the Jesuit Art Museum in Dallas, Texas.
