Reproduction Metzograph on Board "Bacchante from Pompeii"
Item Details
A reproduction metzograph on board after an original fresco of a bacchante from Pompeii, currently housed in the National Archaeological Museum of Naples. To the verso is a label from the Fratelli Alinari Society of Florence with an ink inscription. Housed in an early 20th-century gilt and gesso wood frame without glass.
Condition
- print is in good condition, most wear is contained to the frame; areas of missing gilt and gesso, concentrated in the corners.
