A Royal Doulton earthenware character jug from The Antagonists collection. This handmade and hand-painted mug depicts raised images of General Robert E. Lee to one side and Ulysses S. Grant to the other, with the American flag and Confederate flag to either side of the handle. The underside is marked ‘Royal Doulton ’The Antagonists’ Collection, The Civil War, Ulysses S. Grant/Robert E. Lee, Limited Edition of 3722/9500’.
