An etching of the Church of San Martino in Portofino, after M.S. Thiemann. Portofino is an Italian fishing village on the Mediterranean sea. This etching depicts the Church of San Martiono, originally built in the Romanesque Lombard style and later remodeled. It is pencil signed ‘M.S. Thiemann’ below the plate to the lower right. The lower left also includes a very faint notation. The art is mounted under bubble glass in a two tone wood frame, with gray and charcoal mats. The reverse includes a paper notation. Framed by The Lions Den, Connecticut.
