An avant garde found objects modern art sculpture by well known Cincinnati, Ohio artist CV Mansoor. Sculpture features a yellow ribbed pottery bowl filled with charcoal pencil shavings, double end sharpened charcoal pencil, a lead beaded necklace, a piece of broken glass with red gummy residue on it, and several charcoal pieces wrapped in tape. Unmarked. The piece was intended to be paired with item 13CIN189-1139 but due to an error in cataloging, was not. Please know that these items are intended to go together and were part of numerous installation projects. Please view the link below for further information on the artist.
Condition
Some wear to bowl including cracks. Inside of bowl is filled with charcoal residue, all of which is thought to be intentional in the sculptural design.
