Item Details
A collection of vintage political buttons in a metal box. Features a variety of pinback and tin folding-tab buttons, including political buttons supporting McCarthy, Humphrey, and assorted local campaigns. Also includes numerous other buttons with statements such as ‘Erin go Bragh’, ‘Yes, I have seen ’Man of La Mancha’ once’, and ‘Marie Curie J.H.S. Member G.O., 1962-1963.’ This collection if stored in a vintage metal chocolate box, with a pink finish, green and gold accents, and ‘Louis Sherry, New York, Paris’ to the lid.
Condition
- rust and wear to box; some buttons have scratches to finish; some tin badges have rust.
