A collection of eight American Racing Pigeon Union diplomas. Features diplomas commemorating places of honor in pigeon races held in the late 1930s in states ranging from Illinois to Maryland. Each bears the senior signatures and bears the stamp of the American Racing Pigeon Union, as well as details from the race including weather conditions, average flight speed, and date of liberation. Also includes a National Capital Racing Pigeon Concourse diploma for a race in 1936 bearing similar accolades and the image of a stately champion to the upper right.
Condition
- binder holes punched in each; some yellowing; some pencil writing on the backs and in margins.
