Vintage Chippendale Style Cherry Drop Lid Writing Desk

Item Details

A vintage Chippendale style cherry drop lid desk with angled oxbow drawers. The case has an upper lid which opens and rests on lopers. The desk interior reveals a partitioned interior with a fan-carved prospect door, flanked by pigeon holes with small drawers and compartments dispersed on either side and resting above four drawers with small brass knobs. Below are four drawers, all having brass bail pulls on batwing plates and escutcheons. The case rests on four legs with bracket feet. Retains original finish.
