Item Details
A semi-antique to vintage hand-knotted Kurdish wool carpet runner. The rug features a center field of three rectilinear branched medallions emanating from diamond form centers in madder red , pink, greens and ecru ona deep, saturated indigo blue ground. The medallions are framed with racemes of floral elements, floral rondels, framed by decorative spandrels in the field colors. The field is banded by a boteh chain border on salmon, a carnation meander on white, and a diagonal leaf pattern to the outside. It has overcast edges in dark grey and soft white wool fringe to the ends. It is unlabeled.
