Early 20th Century Herend "Rothschild Bird" Porcelain Tableware
Item Details
An assortment of early 20th century Herend Rothschild Bird porcelain tableware including four luncheon plates, four salad plates, one dessert plate, one bread plate, eight teacups and saucers, and eight demitasse cups and saucers. The hand-painted pieces feature an avian and butterfly design in a palette of yellow, green, blue, and red with gilt trim on the subtle scalloped rims. The pieces are marked ‘Herend Hungary’ to the underside with an emblem indicating production ca. 1915-1930s.
