An offset lithograph on paper after a poster for the Trianon-Concert in Paris by French illustrator Georges Meunier (1869-1942). This monochrome printing of a poster for the café concert years of the Trianon theatre features richly-dressed men and woman out for a night at the concert hall. In the foreground two women share a bowl of cherries. Text advertising the event locale is placed along the top and bottom left of the illustrated image. It is signed in plate to the lower right and publisher’s information is printed vertically to the lower right margin. It is mounted in a black plastic frame with nail hook placement for hanging.
Condition
- poster sits slightly crooked in frame; minor marks to backing.
