An original watercolor on paper by listed Ohio artist Robert Herrmann (1922 – 1996). The painting depicts a collection of buildings in a city with a small sliver of sky peeking out around the side. It is signed to the lower right. Presented in white matting and wrapped in acetate.

Herrmann acquired his formal artistic and architectural training at the University of Cincinnati, University of Wisconsin, Ohio State University, University of Iowa, and Columbia University. While professionally trained, he chose to never exhibit his work publicly, making his first solo exhibit posthumous.
