An original oil painting on canvas of a coyote cowboy by listed American artist Robert McMurtry (1950-2012). This painting depicts an anthropomorphic coyote dressed as a cow hand in a southwestern setting against a pink sky. A pink and yellow polka dot border frames the entire composition. The work is signed in the lower right ‘R. McMurtry 1988’. It is presented unframed with a hanging wire mounted to the verso.
Condition
Good; a few scuff marks on painting near bottom and side margins.
