Bassett Furniture "Provence" Dresser and Mirror

Item Details

A ‘Provence’ dresser and mirror by Basset Furniture. This furniture is influenced by both the rustic furniture designs found in the French countryside and the Directoire furniture style. Finished in a knotty elm veneer and cobblestone finish, it features two shallow drawers and two rows of three drawers, with cabinet curves and moldings, and bronze pull hardware. One of the left side drawers includes a drop down front, and the two bottom drawers are cedar, while the others are pine. A matching rectangular dresser mirror is included. Marked ‘Basset Furniture.’
