Two African Inspired Carved Wooden Figures Including Isaka Maasai Bust
Item Details
A set of two African inspired carved wooden figures. Featured is a carved bust by Kenyan artist Isaka depicting a Maasai warrior. The work is signed with an incised mark of ‘Isaka’ to the underside. Also included is a carving depicting a standing robed male figure holding a walking stick. The piece appears to be marked to the underside; however, no clear artist attribution could be made.
Condition
- cracks present throughout bust; light overall surface wear, scuffing and scratching to both items.
