A Roderick Tenorio for Relios sterling silver turquoise storyteller cuff. This cuff features a center rectangular turquoise cabochon bordered by motifs in a specific storytelling pattern. The pattern is indicative of a storyteller bracelet, which originated in the 1960s. Some of the motifs displayed in this particular bracelet is a happy/sad motif, a sunface, stalks of corn and a water house. Roderick Tenorio was a notable Kewa silversmith from the Santo Domingo Pueblo who, along with his wife Marilyn, worked with the Relios shop, part of Carolyn Pollack’s group.
