Item Details
An offset lithograph after a painting of a pastoral landscape by listed artist Robert Doares (1911 – 2005). This print on paper depicts an Impressionist rendering of a winding dirt path cutting through a grassy field, which is accented by large tree trunks filled with daubed pigment representing leaves. To the lower right corner of the composition is an in-plate artist signature. The print is presented under glass beneath layered matting in a silver tone aluminum frame with sawtooth brackets to the verso for hanging.
