A quatrefoil dagger in sheath, with two letter openers. The dagger has a baton-shaped handle with a leather cord lanyard attached to a long, slim dagger with a square (quatrefoil) cross-section;

The long, slim dagger has a square (quatrefoil) cross-section attached to a baton-shaped grip and leather lanyard; the grip and the rigid sheath are covered in a similar chocolate brown leather-like finish. Also included is a small silver-toned saber-shaped letter opener with a scabbard bearing the logo of the Hargrave Military Academy in Chatham, Virginia, and a novelty tasseled wooden-handled letter opener with painted light blue and green ornamentation with a matching sheath stamped with the words ‘WFLO, Farmville, Virginia, 870 AM – 95.7 FM.’

Condition

- some tarnishing and wear according to age and use; evidence of repair to the dagger’s sheath; wear to the handle, blade, and scabbard of the saber letter opener.
