Item Details

A pair of hand colored and embellished etchings signed Augustine printed on a single sheet and titled Mystical Place I and Mystical Place II. The images are similar to one another, each depicting an ornate monument topped with a pediment and sculpted figures over an arch framing a white inscribed expanse. The etchings are printed in black ink, hand colored in shades of brown, blue and pink and embellished with metallic ink. Each is signed ‘Augustine’ in pencil to the lower right and numbered 15/275 to the lower left. It is unframed.

- edges are slightly worn; pencil marks are quite faded
