Wedgwood "Embossed Queensware" Plates

A twenty-four piece collection of Wedgwood plates comprised of twelve dinner and salad plates. The pieces are in the Embossed Queensware pattern consisting of a blue ground with white decoration in relief. This pattern was based on the famous jasper dry body developed in the eighteenth century. This decoration has a glazed surface making it more suitable for dining. There are printed factory marks reading ‘Wedgwood of Etruria & Barlaston’ on the underside.
