A Brass Guardian Lion and Dragon Censer

Item Details

A brass guardian lion censer. This censor stands on four curved legs and has a removable lid to reveal the cavity which holds incense. The lid is topped with a small stylized guardian lion. The sides each have a handle which is shaped to form a Chinese style dragon. The surface of the censer body has an embossed dragon illustration. This piece is marked with a six character mark on the underside of the base.
