A pair composed of a colored lithograph and hand-colored etching of soldiers. These two prints on heavy rag paper include St. James’s Park, originally painted by George Morland, which depicts a Victorian-style family of women and children gathered in the forest with a British soldier. Also included is a hand-colored etching by Ronald Gower, which depicts a fallen soldier looking off to the distance at a raging fire. Both prints feature an in plate signature, title and medium to either the margins or lower left of the composition, in addition to an embossed border.

Condition

- yellowing to pages; pencil inscription to top left and bottom right corners.
