A pair of engravings after original female portraits. Included is an engraving by F. Petitjean, signed in plate to the lower right margin, after Élisabeth Vigee-Lebrun’s self-portrait titled Madame Vigee-Lebrun and Her Daughter, Jeanne Lucie Louise. Also included is an engraving by S. Cousins after T. Lawrence’s female portrait titled The Countess of Durham. Both pieces are presented on heavy rag paper with plate markings and text to the lower margins.

- to fair; smudges to surface; pages yellowing; edge wear throughout; creasing to corners; slight tearing; some paper is fragile; tape residue to top edge; pencil inscriptions to lower margins; some discoloration; text fading.
