Offset Lithographs Featuring "Woodland Reflections" After Dalhart Windberg
Item Details
A grouping of three offset lithographs on paper of street views and woodland scenes. The first of these pieces is titled Woodland Reflections after American painter Dalhart Windberg (1933 – ), and features a picturesque view of a warm, sunny meadow with deer, from the edge of a dark forest. It is signed in plate to the lower right, and dated 1971. The second print depicts a man fishing, and is titled Louvre Fisherman to the lower left, with the artist’s name, Bastogg, in plate to the lower right. The third print features figures crossing a bridge in one point perspective. It is signed illegibly in plate to the lower right, and marked 2179 in an edition of 4000. Each print is presented under glass in a wood frame, wired to hang.
Condition
- minor wear to corners of frames; some marks and scratches throughout; Bastogg print has significant foxing and debris under glass and damage to backing paper.
