Sculptural Carved Wooden Table

A sculptural carved occasional table, having a twisted, rectangular pedestal form with open cavity. The table has been carved from one piece of exotic wood. The top features the end grain, showing the heart and sap wood of the log. Late 20th or early 21st century.
