Vintage Binoculars Including WWII-Era

A collection of four pairs of vintage binoculars including World War II-era German types. A pair of vintage WWII-era metal binoculars are marked ‘German Busch Rathenow Solluxon 6×30’. A pair of German-made E. Leitz Wetzlar binoculars are marked as 6×24 – 212m/1000m, with serial number 590504. Another pair are marked ‘Heinsoldt Weltzar – 714101 – Dialyt 7×42’. The fourth pair have leather over enamel, and are unmarked, but come in a case marked ‘J . Kossmann – Baden-Baden’.

Condition

Good to fair:
- all in working condition and have been tested
- all have surface marks, wear to finish
- non-functioning closure on Bush binoculars
- damaged strap on the Heinsoldt binoculars
- damage and wear to case of E. Leitz binoculars; case may not be original to binoculars, fastener doesn’t close all the way
- J. Kossmann case is in poor condition; binoculars are missing one leather cover around the right lens
