Item Details
An embroidered textile. This piece depicts an arrangement of roses and other floral imagery, with the stitches being used to hold together a loose arrangement of horizontal threads that form a cream-colored ground. The piece is mounted on a black background and presented behind glass in a gold tone wood frame that is wired to the verso for hanging.
Condition
- slight wear to the frame; textile demonstrates some signs of age, most notably fading color of the thread and fraying to loose ends.
