Antique Schierholz Porcelain Trinket Boxes
Item Details
A pair of antique Schierholz porcelain trinket boxes. The boxes are white and feature gold tone detailing. The top of each box has a multicolor floral design with blue, yellow, purple, and red flowers. The bottom of the pieces are marked ‘Germany’ and have a mark with three oak leaves on a crowned shield which belongs to the Porzellanmanufaktur Plaue owned by the von Schierholz family in the town of Plaue in Thuringia. The mark to the bottom was used from 1907 to 1927.
