A vintage handwoven Moroccan wool area rug. The rug has horizontal stripes of red, black, purple and white, with alternating bands that have multi-colored woven triangles, with geometric guard borders with S-patterns in red and white. The ends of the rug have twisted brown and white hand-tied fringe. No maker’s marks.
