Power-Loomed Bokhara-Style Accent Rug
Item Details
A power-loomed Bokhara-style accent rug. This rug is rendered in a palette of cinnamon, cocoa, taupe, and ecru. It features a Turkmen tribal-style Bokhara design, beginning with a grid of elephant’s foot guls interspersed with small, hooked minor guls over an ecru-colored field. Framing the field are eight wraparound borders featuring geometric patterns over cinnamon or cocoa. Horizontal panels, one above the field, the other below, feature chamtos patterns of concentric diamonds. Selvedges are serged, the rug finishing at top and bottom with applied fringe. It is unlabeled.
