Louis XV Style Red and Gold Récamier

A Louis XV style récamier chaise/ bench. It has raised, flared ends at each side, with curled detail incised at the top. It has a slightly scalloped apron and cabriole legs on peg feet. The arms and seat are padded and upholstered in a red and gold striped brocade fabric. The wooden frame is painted gold.
