Ink Wash

An original vintage ink drawing on wove paper by an artist initialed M.L.C. The drawing depicts four couples in formalwear making their way through an empty space. Several of the figures have concerned looks on their faces, and two of the women are led by young boys who delicately hold their arms. The print is initialed in ink to the lower right. It is presented behind glass in a wooden frame with black finish, cast gold tone corner embellishments, and a hanging wire attached to the verso.

Condition

- to poor. Paper is quite yellowed and has light ripping, creasing, bug damage, and water damage across margins. Large area of water damage covers the farthest left figure in the composition.

- measures frame. Visible image area measures 17.5" W x 10.5" H.
